Change the language, logo and colors

Set your account language, give a time clock its own language, and add your logo, brand color and light or dark themes.

Both live in Settings, Branding & language. The account language changes what everyone sees. Branding puts your name, logo and color on the time clock, your login page and your careers page.

Change the account language

  1. Go to Settings and click the Branding & language tab.
  2. Under Account language, choose English, Spanish, Greek, German, French, Dutch, Italian or Portuguese.

It's the language of the whole account: the dashboard, the time clock, the employee pages and the emails Kloqk sends. It applies to everyone in the business. On a computer you can also switch it from the language menu at the top of the dashboard.

A few less-used pages are still in English while the translation is finished. Anything not translated yet shows in English rather than breaking.

Give one time clock its own language

A kitchen crew and a front office don't always read the same language. If you have more than one site, you can set the language of the time clock at each one:

  1. Go to Settings, Locations.
  2. Beside the site, open the language menu and choose a language, or Same as the account.

This changes that site's time clock only, not your dashboard.

Add your branding

  1. On Branding & language, under Company page & branding, check your Company name. It's shown on the time clock, the login page and every report.
  2. Workspace address (your company URL) is where your team logs in and clocks in. Changing it changes those links, so update any saved time clock tablets and bookmarks.
  3. Pick a Brand color. It's used for buttons and links across your dashboard, time clock, login page and careers page. Text color is chosen automatically so it stays readable.
  4. Choose a Dashboard theme (Light, Dark or Match device). It's also used for your login page and careers page.
  5. Choose a Time clock theme. Dark is easier on the eyes on a wall tablet in a dim room.
  6. Upload a Logo: PNG, JPG or SVG, under 2 MB.
  7. Click Save branding.

Click Preview workspace login to see the login page your team will see.

Logo color

If your logo is a single color, Logo color lets you show it As uploaded, Dark, Light or in your Brand color. That's handy when a white logo disappears on a light background. A logo with more than one color is always shown exactly as uploaded.

Good to know

  • With no logo, Kloqk shows your business's first initial in your brand color.
  • Your careers page can have its own theme. Set it in Hiring, Your careers page. See Your careers page.
  • Language and branding are free on every plan. Time clocks at more than one site need Pro.
  • Every change here is recorded in Settings history.
