Frequently asked
Is scheduling free?
Yes. The schedule, shifts, copying weeks, fill forward, the CSV import and export and the printable PDF are all on the Free plan. Read the guide
Can one person have two shifts on the same day?
Yes. After adding the first shift, the + box is still under it. Click it and type the second shift's times. Read the guide
Why does a 9 to 5 shift show 7h30?
Your lunches are set as unpaid, so a 30 minute lunch comes off the hours. Change the lunch setting in Settings > Payroll, or set Paid on that one shift. Read the guide
Does a shift clock anybody in?
No. A shift is the plan. Hours come from the time clock or from hours you enter on the timesheet. Read the guide
Can I edit an employee's timesheet?
Yes. Timesheets > Edit times on their row > Edit on the day. Change, add or remove punches and save. Read the guide
Is the original time kept when I change a punch?
Yes. The change, who made it and the reason are kept and shown under the day, on the employee's Timesheet changes and in the adjustments report. Read the guide
Can employees edit their own time?
No, but they can ask for a correction at the clock. You approve or deny it on the Timesheets page. Read the guide
How do I add a punch for a day with no hours?
Use Type this person's hours for a day under their days, pick the date, click Open and add the punches. Read the guide
Is Kloqk really free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and covers one location with unlimited employees, including the time clock, timesheets, the schedule, time off, documents, hiring and payroll exports. Read the guide
Do you charge per employee?
No. Paid plans are priced per location: $29 per location per month for Pro and $59 for Premium, however many people you have. Read the guide
Do I need a credit card to try Pro?
No. The 14-day Pro trial needs no card and returns you to Free on its own. The 30-day Premium trial takes a card at checkout. Read the guide
Do job sites count as locations on my bill?
No. Only sites, the places you run a time clock, are billed. Job sites for field crews are not. Read the guide
